Our Story

Kadori is a curated furniture store for quieter rooms: warm timber, softened silhouettes, natural textures, and pieces that feel considered without feeling precious.

Our name is inspired by the idea of careful arrangement — the way a single chair, table, or sofa can shift the rhythm of a home. Kadori brings together Japanese restraint and Scandinavian warmth: simplicity, comfort, and practical beauty in equal measure.

Why Japandi

Japandi design works because it does not ask for attention all at once. It favours proportion, negative space, honest materials, and small tactile details: the curve of a wooden arm, the grain of a dining table, the softness of bouclé, the quiet usefulness of a bench near the door.

For Kadori, Japandi is not a trend label. It is a way of choosing furniture that settles naturally into daily life — pieces that can make a room feel calmer, more grounded, and easier to live in.

How we curate

We start with a small catalogue on purpose. Instead of listing hundreds of near-identical products, we focus on pieces that share a clear visual language: low profiles, balanced proportions, tactile upholstery, warm wood tones, and forms that are simple enough to last beyond a season.

Each product is reviewed for silhouette, material impression, scale, finish, and how it might sit with familiar objects in a real home. If a product detail is not verified by the supplier, we do not dress it up as fact. We would rather be precise than loud.

What we are building

Kadori begins with the essentials of a calm home: sofas, lounge chairs, dining chairs, dining tables, benches, and compact accent pieces. As the catalogue grows, the aim is to keep the same discipline — fewer pieces, better chosen.

We are building the store as a living catalogue: clearer photography, more useful product pages, stronger delivery guidance, and customer-care policies that answer the practical questions people have before buying furniture online.

Our promise

We will keep the language plain, the styling warm, and the product information as accurate as we can make it. Where dimensions, materials, assembly notes, care details, or delivery conditions are confirmed, we will show them. Where something is still pending, we will say so.
