Care Guide
Good furniture care is mostly about small habits: protect surfaces, clean spills early, avoid harsh products, and keep each material in the conditions it was designed for.
This guide is general. Always follow product-specific care instructions where they are provided by the supplier.
Upholstery
- Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and crumbs.
- Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub aggressively.
- Avoid bleach, strong solvents, and untested stain removers.
- Keep upholstery away from prolonged direct sunlight where possible to reduce fading.
- Rotate loose cushions when possible to even out wear.
Wood
- Use coasters, placemats, and trivets to protect against heat, moisture, and staining.
- Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry with a clean cloth.
- Avoid soaking, abrasive pads, and harsh chemical cleaners.
- Expect natural grain, tone, and texture variation in timber finishes.
Stone, ceramic & composite surfaces
- Clean spills quickly, especially acidic liquids such as citrus, wine, or vinegar.
- Use coasters and mats to reduce rings, scratches, and heat marks.
- Avoid dragging heavy or sharp objects across the surface.
Metal, rattan & mixed materials
- Dust regularly with a soft cloth.
- Keep woven and natural-fibre details away from excessive moisture.
- Tighten visible hardware gently if it loosens through normal use.
