Delivery & Assembly Charges

Furniture delivery is different from parcel delivery. Larger items may require appointment scheduling, two-person handling, lift access, building approval, or additional preparation at the delivery address.

Delivery fees

Delivery charges are shown at checkout where available. Some oversized, remote, restricted-access, or special-handling orders may require confirmation before fulfilment. If a delivery fee or service level cannot be confirmed automatically, we will contact you before proceeding.

Delivery fees may vary by item size, total order weight, destination, delivery partner availability, and any access requirements at the property.

Assembly

Assembly availability depends on the product, delivery region, and delivery partner. If assembly is included or available as an add-on, this will be stated on the product page, checkout, or order communication where confirmed.

Unless expressly confirmed, customers should assume that some light assembly may be required, such as attaching legs, tightening fittings, or placing loose cushions.

Before delivery day

  • Measure doorways, hallways, lifts, stairwells, tight corners, and the final room placement area.
  • Check building rules for lift bookings, loading bays, delivery time windows, parking, deposits, and lift padding.
  • Clear the route from the entrance to the final room.
  • Make sure someone authorised is available to receive and inspect the order.
  • Keep pets, children, and fragile items away from the delivery path.

Restricted access, stairs & failed delivery

If the delivery partner cannot safely complete delivery because of access restrictions, incorrect address details, missed appointments, refusal by building management, or an item not fitting through the route, the order may need to be rescheduled or returned to the delivery facility.

Additional charges may apply for re-delivery, storage, stair carry, failed delivery, repacking, or return handling. We will review the situation and confirm next steps based on the delivery partner's assessment.

Receiving your order

Please inspect the item and packaging on arrival. If there is visible damage, missing parts, or the wrong item, take photos before moving or assembling the piece and contact us promptly with your order number.
